Darcy PAQUET

Film Critic. The Founder of website, Koreanfilm.org, The author of New Korean Cinema: Breaking the Waves (2010) and Korean film program consultant at the Udine Far East Film Festival in Italy and the San Sebastian International Film Festival in Spain. He recently founded the ‘Wildflower Film Awards’ in Korea to recognize and promote the achievements in Korean independent and low-budget cinema. He was also cast in films such as The Taste of Money and Almost Che. He was born in Boston and has been living in Seoul since 1997.

HAN Sunhee

Produced the theatrically released documentary film Talking Architect (2011, directed by JEONG Jae-un) and other films such as Manshin: Ten Thousand Spirits (2013, directed by PARK Chan-kyong) and The Basement Satellite (2013, directed by Hyeong-ju KIM). She also produced the TV documentary Shaman of the Sea (2012) for Discovery Channel Asia-Pacific Network and planned and produced the MBC documentary The Master Tailor (2015). She directed and produced the full-length documentary film Old Days (2016), which was invited to be screened at the Korea Cinemascape section of the Jeonju International Film Festival and the Udine Far East Film Festival. She is currently teaching in the International Film Business Academy at the Busan Asian Film School.

JEON Gyesoo

JEON Gyesoo made his directorial debut with the 2006 film Midnight Ballad for Ghost Theater. He took part in NHRC's (National Human Rights Commission of Korea) 2008 Human Rights Film Project, If You Were Me 4. He also directed the 2012 film Love Fiction, the musical My Love by My Side, and the 2014 cine musical Love with an Alien (Igugjeong-won).

KIM Kuchul

As the department head of The Munhwa Ilbo's culture desk and as the one in charge of the paper's movie section, KIM Gu Cheol has been covering filming locations for over 10 years since 2003 both in country and abroad. He has also served as a director of the 'Film of the Year Awards’ hosted by the Korean Film Reporters Association (KOFRA).

Lee Yosup

Director LEE Yo-sup graduated from the Department of Animation at Korea National University of the Arts. He directed the 2016 film, The Queen of Crime. Other works by the director include Dirty Harry(2014), Inspection of the Memory(2011), Vague Figure(2010), and Plastic Robot(2005).

JEONG Minah

JEONG Minah is a professor at the Division of Theatre and Film at Sungkyul University, and a film critic. She has also taken on a variety of other roles including: editorial director at the Korean Film Association, consultant for Indie Film Seoul, consultant for EBS-TV film programs, consultant for the Film Festival for Women's Rights, and member of the editorial staff for the film site 'Extreme Movie'. JEONG Minah also regularly contributes movie reviews for newspapers and magazines. In addition, she has worked as a programmar for the EBS International Documentary Festival, as well as serving as a judge for various international film festivals. Books that she has co-authored include titles such as Korean Films Between Liberation and the Korean War, The Present Day of Korean Documentaries, and Jang Jin-young, the Mobius of a Pure Heart. Books she has translated include Filmcraft: Production Design and The Matrix of Visual Culture.

OH Dongjin

Programmer OH Dongjin started out as a culture desk reporter for multiple media outlets from 1989 to 2013, and later went on to fill various positions such as editor-in-chief of film magazine Cinebus, managing editor of film webzine Nkino, CEO of D&D Media, member of the executive committee for the Busan International Film Festival, and executive committee director for the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival. As a film critic, OH Dongjin is also actively working as festival director of the Marie Claire Film Festival, deputy chairperson of the Green Film Festival in Seoul, and as the chief programmer for the Anyang International Youth Film Festival.
